Multi-banded belts are made from classical or wedge belts with a strong tie-band over them.



These belts prevent rollovers and reduce vibration tendencies in drives with a combination of long belt spans and/or pulsating loads as created by an internal combustion engine or reciprocating pump and compressor.



This banded V-belt also elimates the problem of belts interfacing with each other and turning or jumping out of the grooves.
